#102 | Kevin Butts - Snowboarding off of Washington and Oregon's Volcanoes
If you're not moving, you're standing still.
This year, I've spent the most time in my life exploring the wilderness.
I've focused mainly on exploring the northern cascades and I did a trip around Mt St Helens.
As I continue with my adventures, I'm learning more about how I like to spend my time.
It sounds trivial, but this process is giving my life a sense of growing meaning through mastery of skills,
developing a closer relationship to my ego, my body and my rational mind while bringing me closer to
other people pursuing the same things in their own ways.
This week's guest, Kevin Butts, exemplifies my experience through his adventures climbing up and snowboarding down
the snow capped volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest. In late spring, he hikes hours to touch the sky atop
a melting snowy peak so he can snowboard just a little more...
