#25 | Struggling with Life? Find your discipline - Alfred(@bobobajinski)

I met my pal Alfred while rolling at Livewire MMA in burlington, watching him get deeper and deeper into Jiu Jitsu was humbling and inspiring. He quickly got better and I saw something familiar- a hunger in his eyes. Alfred is a chef who sought more meaning from his life than cooking food for the masses, once he found jiu jitsu, he felt at home. I do not want to denigrate cooking, but as with many things, there are levels to the discipline. You can provide a service- feeding the masses or master an art form. Having been a chef myself, there is a large divide between these environments and it is difficult to eek out meaning from an average restaurant that is competing with the local fare. Destination or artisanal restaurants do not need to be open 7 days a week and make safe food in order to appeal to its customers. People who are driven to find something meaningful fascinates and inspires me. It was a pleasure to get to know more about Alfred and his experience in this life.
